Instead of sinking skill points into oak sage I want to now max feral rage - in Drbunskis video he explained that you keep hitting enemies with it until the circling orb is at it's fullest, that means that for 20 seconds you have the max life leech and movement speed it can provide - he got up to 104% life leech! That's not a typo. By all rights that should be enough, shouldn't it? I know I don't have a shield for blocking, but both barbs and paladins made it to guardian on about the same, and my barb didn't block either. Since I don't have any need for more dex or str, (pretty much) all my remaining stat points will go to vit for 10 HP per level, 20 in wereform. Here is my other plan: I have 2279 HP in wereform at lvl 63. I'm very seriously considering not using a spirit at all. ![]() Plus, 20 skill points seems a very steep price for an only situational and even then only short-lived boost. What good is extra life that's basically not available in the most dangerous situations, or is going to disappear every couple of seconds? This is HC, if I can't can't count on it I might as well not have it. And in hell it's not even immune to physical damage anymore if I understand it correctly. So, fire archers, oblivion knights, glooms, hell, even siege beast with riders or megademons spell quick doom for oak sage. If there are any elemental damages around it lasts only a handful of seconds. I'm told in NM Oak Sage is immune to physical damage and poison, but still it's barely worth casting it seems. I'm now picking the next skill to max, and since this is HC Oak Sage seemingly makes the most sense. ![]() My Fury Druid is lvl 63 now and I have maxed werewolf, lycanthropy and fury.
